Google Classroom is an online learning platform that makes providing information, sharing assignments and collecting work, quick and simple.

Classroom fully integrates with Google Drive and allows teachers to post information stored within their Drive for students. It also allows teachers to use Classroom like a 'photocopier' sending copies of one file to each student (essentially the original file is a template that is then copied to each student).

This video provides a quick overview of the basic features of Google Classroom.

Each student will receive a copy of the same document, it is important to note that at this time Google Classroom does not support differentiation.

This video provides an overview of getting started and setting up your class with Google Classroom.

Using Google Classroom allows you to use add-ons to provide additional functionality. These add-ons allow you to extend classroom and use features such as rubrics to assess student work. The following video shows you how to get started with Doctopus and Goobric.
